At Niseko International Clinic (NIC), we are designated as a training facility for foreign physicians under the Clinical Training Program.

We are delighted to announce that Dr. Lupita Estrada, our very first foreign clinical trainee, will continue to work with us as a full-time physician during the 2024–25 winter season and this coming summer.
Her appointment is scheduled until March 2027, and this time she has also brought her family to start a new life in Niseko.

About Dr. Lupita Estrada

👩‍⚕️ Certified General Practitioner from Mexico

• Certified General Practitioner with more than 15 years of clinical experience in major public hospitals and private clinics in Mexico
• Over 6 years of experience in foreign patient care
• Passionate about challenges and continuous growth, offering patients both quality medical care and human warmth
• Completed two winter training seasons at NIC already, and now living in Niseko together with her family, committed to providing community-based medical care

What is the Clinical Training Program?

This special program allows foreign physicians to engage in medical practice in Japan under the supervision of certified instructors, with the aim of promoting international medical exchange and contributing to the improvement of healthcare standards in developing countries.
Through this program, NIC continues to expand international collaboration in the field of medicine.
