Winter Clinic Services Notice

This winter, Niseko Resort expects a large number of tourists. Our clinic is also available to treat ski-related injuries and accept emergency patients, so we anticipate high demand from mid-December to mid-March. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to our regular patients.

1.Winter Medical Service Hours
Period: December 15th to March 31st

Reception Hours:
Every day: Morning: 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM / Afternoon: 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM

Please note that, starting this year, insurance-covered medical services will only be available on weekdays, Monday to Friday. For consultations on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, the year-end/New Year period, an additional after-hours consultation fee of 2,000 yen will apply. We kindly ask for your understanding regarding this matter.

2. For Repeat Prescriptions

If you need a regular prescription, we recommend visiting us between late November and early December. For those with stable conditions, we can provide a prescription or refill prescription for up to three months.

3. Suspension of New Registrations for Health Checkups and Regular Vaccinations for Infants (0 years old)

Due to expected congestion during the winter season, we will suspend new registrations for health checkups and regular vaccinations for infants. Some services may still be available for registration, so please refer to the details here.

4. Expansion of Online Consultation Appointments

To prepare for winter, we plan to increase our online consultation appointment slots. Please consider using online consultations if you need a regular prescription. With online consultations, you can receive a doctor’s consultation from any internet-enabled smartphone or computer, and you can pick up your medication directly from a pharmacy without visiting our clinic. Note that online consultations require prior approval from your doctor, so please consult with them first. A processing fee of ¥1,000 will also apply.

5. Medication Shortages

There is a nationwide shortage of cold medicine and antibiotics. If we are unable to provide your medication, we may issue a prescription. However, some pharmacies are also experiencing shortages, so please be aware that your preferred medications may not always be available. We recommend keeping some over-the-counter medications at home just in case.

6. Web Booking before your visit

During the winter, we expect many patients. Due to limited seating in the waiting area and parking, please use our online booking system to get a ticket number and arrive only when your turn is near. We may ask you to step out of the clinic if there’s still a wait, so that you can return closer to your turn time. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

We have prepared detailed instructions on using the online reservation system, so please give it a try in advance. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out.

7. Automated Phone System

Our phone system is automated responses. This will allow us to send links to web booking site and inquiry forms via SMS. If you experience any issues with online reservations, please contact us through the inquiry form, and a staff member will respond as soon as possible. During the busy winter season, there may be delays, so we recommend using online reservations for faster service.

Also it will be difficult to respond to phone calls during winter season. We really appreciate if you could utilize web booking and inquiry services.

8. Restrictions on Cosmetic Treatment Appointments

During the winter medical service period, we will suspend new appointments for cosmetic treatments. Patients who are already receiving cosmetic treatments may continue their sessions.

Available appointment times are limited to 9:00–10:00 only. In addition, some services will be temporarily unavailable. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
