1.Mountain Clinic Hirafu
Located right next to the King Gondola, this clinic provides immediate care for ski and snowboard injuries as well as sudden illnesses. With direct access from the slopes, our team ensures fast and effective treatment on site.
2.Niseko International Clinic (NIC)
Our main clinic, offering a comprehensive range of medical services: from acute injury management and general practice to chronic disease care, preventive medicine, and aesthetic treatments. We serve both the local community and international visitors.
3.Niseko Wellness Center & Clinic
Situated across from NIC, the Wellness Center provides rehabilitation and fitness programs to support recovery from injuries and to promote prevention. Within the center, Niseko Wellness Clinic offers intravenous (IV) therapies and other wellness treatments. Through these three facilities, NIC delivers high-quality medical care — from emergency response to long-term health and wellness — meeting international standards.
Expertise in sports injuries
Since 2017, we have treated numerous ski and snowboard injuries with extensive experience.
Between December 2024 and March 2025, our team treated approximately 400 patients with anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries.
Comprehensive support until safe return home
Preparation of medical reports for insurance companies, appropriate prescriptions (pain relief, blood clot prevention), and early care such as cryotherapy and physiotherapy to support recovery and prevent complications.
Rapid diagnosis and treatment
On-site services include dispensing medications, X-ray, ECG, blood, urine, and infection tests — with results provided promptly.
Quick access to MRI scans
Through partnerships with local hospitals, patients can undergo MRI examinations without delay when needed.
Emergency transport service
With our own transport system (vans and ambulances), we safely transfer patients from ski resorts or accommodations. We handled 234 cases in the 2023–24 season and 139 cases in the 2024–25 season.
An International Medical Team
Our clinic is staffed by a multinational team of doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, assistants, administrative staff, and medical students. All are fluent in English and provide patient care to international standards, with a deep understanding of the needs of international visitors.

Niseko International Clinic (NIC) is officially designated by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare of Japan (MHLW) as a clinical training institution for foreign medical professionals. Since receiving this designation in April 2023, we have welcomed doctors and nurses from countries such as Mexico and Scotland, offering a unique opportunity to experience international-standard medical care in one of Japan’s most iconic resort destinations.
What is the Clinical Training Program?
This special program allows foreign physicians and nurses to participate in clinical practice in Japan under the supervision of certified instructors. Its aim is to promote international medical exchange and contribute to improving healthcare standards worldwide.
Our multicultural team and real-world experience in trauma care, primary care, and resort medicine make NIC a unique learning environment for global healthcare trainees.
Through this program, NIC continues to foster global collaboration and professional development in the field of medicine.
