Individual Notices Based on Facility Standards

Outpatient Infection Prevention Enhancement Fee

Our clinic meets the facility standards established by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare and claims the Outpatient Infection Prevention Enhancement Fee.

We accept patients with fever or symptoms suggestive of infectious diseases regardless of previous consultation history. Infection prevention measures, including separate patient flow routes and scheduling adjustments, are implemented as necessary.

An infection control manager has been appointed, regular staff training is conducted, and antimicrobial agents are used appropriately in accordance with national guidelines.

Electronic Medical Information Sharing System Fee

Our clinic actively promotes Medical DX and maintains systems to provide high-quality healthcare.

We:

  • Utilize medical information obtained through online eligibility verification systems
  • Promote the use of My Number Health Insurance Cards
  • Implement electronic prescriptions and medical information sharing services

We appreciate your cooperation in using your My Number Health Insurance Card to ensure accurate information is available for your care.

Medical Information Acquisition Fee

Our clinic uses an online eligibility verification system and supports health insurance verification through My Number Cards.

By obtaining and utilizing medical histories, medication records, health checkup information, and other relevant medical information, we strive to provide higher-quality healthcare.

Itemized Statement Issuance System Fee

Our clinic issues itemized statements free of charge with receipts.

These statements include details of prescribed medications and performed examinations. Patients receiving publicly funded medical care are also eligible to receive these statements free of charge.

If you do not wish to receive an itemized statement, please notify reception staff.

Generic Name Prescriptions

Our clinic may prescribe medications using their generic (non-proprietary) names rather than brand names.

This helps ensure stable medication supply even during shortages.

If a patient requests a brand-name medication without a medical necessity, the prescription may be subject to Selective Medical Care charges.

Telemedicine

Our clinic provides telemedicine services in accordance with national guidelines governing online medical consultations.

Please note that psychotropic medications cannot be prescribed during an initial online consultation.

If you wish to use telemedicine services, please contact us in advance.

Program Medical Device Management and Guidance Fee

Our clinic provides medical care utilizing a Ministry-approved hypertension treatment support application.

When deemed appropriate by the physician, patients will receive guidance regarding the use of the application and its role in hypertension management.

Community Support and Outpatient Pharmaceutical Supply Response Fee

Our clinic actively promotes the use of generic medications.

Generic medications contain the same active ingredients as brand-name medications and are recognized by the government as having equivalent efficacy and safety while helping reduce patient costs.

Depending on medication supply conditions, prescribed medications may be changed. Patients will be provided with sufficient explanation before any changes are made.

Outpatient and Home Care Base-Up Evaluation Fee

Our clinic is committed to maintaining high-quality healthcare by improving the compensation and working conditions of healthcare professionals.

This fee supports wage increases for healthcare workers, including nurses and other medical staff.

We appreciate your understanding that this may result in a small increase in patient co-payments.

Expenses Not Covered by Insurance

Patients are responsible for the actual costs of:

  • Vaccinations
  • Health checkups
  • Medical certificates and reports
  • Crutches and certain orthopedic braces or supports
