Driver & Patient Support Staff – Winter Season 2026–2027
Niseko International Clinic (NIC) is looking for an experienced Driver & Patient Support Staff member to assist with patient and staff transportation during the 2026–2027 winter season.
Responsibilities
- Transport patients using clinic vehicles
- Assist patients with mobility and during medical consultations, including transfers to and from ambulances
- Assist international patients with reception, basic medical history-taking, and communication in English
- Transport clinic staff between the clinic and staff accommodation
- Perform basic cleaning of clinic vehicles and facilities
- Assist with snow removal around the clinic and staff accommodation
- Perform light facility and equipment maintenance as needed
Requirements
- Safe driving record with no history of accidents or traffic violations
- Valid driver’s license or international driving permit that allows driving in Japan
- Physically capable of assisting with patient transfers and carrying heavy equipment
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality
- Eligible to obtain a visa that permits employment in Japan, such as a Working Holiday visa
- Ability to communicate with patients in English
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience driving vans or larger vehicles
- Experience driving in snowy or icy conditions
- First Aid certification or experience
- Previous experience working in a medical or emergency care setting
Employment Conditions
- Employment period: November 24, 2026 – March 10, 2027
- Work schedule: 5 days per week (negotiable)
- Working hours: 8 hours per day (negotiable)
- Hourly wage: From JPY 1,500
