1. Program Overview
Niseko International Clinic (NIC), officially designated by Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) as a clinical training institution for foreign medical professionals, is now accepting applications from foreign-licensed nurses for our Clinical Training Program.
Located in the world-renowned Niseko resort area, this program offers a unique opportunity to experience international-standard healthcare in Japan while working alongside a multicultural medical team.
2. Program Details
- Training Period: December 2025 – March 2026 (4 months)
Extensions of up to 2 years may be possible - Location: Niseko International Clinic, Niseko, Hokkaido, Japan
- Main Responsibilities:
• Assisting with patient care at the fever outpatient clinic
• Performing intravenous (IV) therapy
• Supporting general nursing duties under supervision - Openings: 2 positions remaining for the 2025–2026 season
3. Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a licensed nurse with at least 3 years of clinical experience
- Fluent in English for medical communication
- Japanese language skills (reading/writing) are an asset, but not required
- Good physical and mental health
- Team-oriented, with a compassionate, patient-centered approach
4. Working Conditions
- Schedule: 5 days per week, 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- Days Off: 2 rotating days per week
- Compensation: No salary (in accordance with Japanese regulations)
- A monthly living stipend (scholarship) is provided
5. Program Benefits
- Monthly stipend sufficient to support your stay in the Niseko area
- Shared accommodation (house share or room share) provided
- Locations are either within walking distance of NIC or near Kutchan Station
- All accommodations are furnished and include utilities, internet, appliances, and furniture
- Visa sponsorship and application support (processing time approx. 4 months — early application recommended)
- Transportation to NIC via bus or carpool with staff
- Experience life in Niseko, a world-class winter destination known for its powder snow
